Yara Matar (she/her) is a Project Manager at SEEK Development with over seven years of experience in top-tier consulting. At SEEK, she is a core member of the resource mobilization and advocacypractice, leading projects across sectors including nutrition, global health,agriculture, and WASH.
With vast experience in strategy development, resource mobilization, and multi-stakeholder engagement, Yara facilitates complex strategy processes, in close collaboration with clients, by helping them articulate their aspirations, turning those aspirations into actionable goals, and building effective global partnerships in service of their mission and strategic objectives.
Prior to SEEK, Yara worked in management consulting, serving public sector clients in the Middle East. As a consultant with BCG and Booz Allen Hamilton for over five years, she helped ministers and heads of state with developing their national agendas in the areas of food security, agriculture, and water and supported some of the largest government transformation efforts in the Gulf region.
Yara holds a Master of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
