Christina Schrade (she/her) is the Founder and Managing Director of SEEK Development. She has dedicated her career to supporting human growth so that people and communities—no matter where they live—can unfold their full potential. Christina combines more than 20 years of experience in strategy, organizational and leadership consulting with deep knowledge of the global development and global health space.
An entrepreneur for social impact, Christina has advised senior leaders of numerous multilateral, governmental, philanthropic, civil society and private sector organizations in accelerating progress toward a more sustainable and equitable world. She provides strategic direction to guide these organizations through complex change processes and critical decision-making for action and measurable results. Alongside her deep content expertise in global health and development, sustainable finance, and political advocacy, her clients value her for being a caring challenger and excellent coach who helps them develop their leadership capacity and impact.
Before founding SEEK Development, Christina held senior positions at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, where she focused on strategy and organizational development. As an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, she led various strategy, organizational transformation, and leadership transition projects in global development and the private sector. She has also taught and conducted research at Harvard University on adaptive leadership and transnational cooperation at the University of Tübingen. As a result of her previous roles, Christina can draw on an extensive network of international contacts.
Christina holds a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University in the US and a Masters in Political Science and Economy from University of Tübingen, Germany.
