Sukhada Bakare (she/her) is a Consultant at SEEK Development with over five years of experience in top-tier consulting and global public health. She has strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with senior executives, bureaucrats, and national government stakeholders. At SEEK, she is particularly drawn to the Global Health, and Advocacy practice areas, driven by her passion for women and child development and her interest in the intersection of climate and health sectors.
With extensive experience in multi-stakeholder engagements and expertise in the public health and education sectors, Sukhada enables her stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies.
Previously, Sukhada focused on strengthening public health systems, particularly for under-5 immunization, COVID-19 vaccination and primary healthcare services. At the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), she gained strategic and implementation experience across multiple states in India, enhancing review and governance, supply chain, and service delivery systems. She also worked as the Chief of Staff to the Managing Director, where she honed her strategic planning and project management skills. She started her career working on management consulting projects across consumer, education, and information technology sectors at Boston Consulting Group.
Sukhada holds a Masters in Energy Systems Engineering and Bachelors in Energy Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
