
Said Jeylani (he/him) is a Project Manager at SEEK Development, bringing over six years of experience
in international development, renewable energy, climate finance, and infrastructure across the world.
At SEEK, he is passionate about the interlinkages between energy and climate, particularly how
sustainable energy solutions can drive climate resilience and inclusive economic development. He
supports strategy development and organizational consulting for global development institutions,
focusing on evidence-based solutions in climate and economic development.
With his expertise in renewable energy, public-private partnerships (PPPs), investment advisory, and
climate finance, he supports clients with services including research, developing strategies, program
evaluations, investment strategies and result-based management.
Previously, he worked in the fields of development cooperation, investment facilitation, and business
advisory. He worked at KPMG, managing multi-stakeholder energy and climate projects for
international clients, gaining experience in project evaluation, data analysis, and strategic advisory. He
also worked at Empower New Energy as an Asset Manager, where he oversaw energy infrastructure
assets across Africa, strengthening his expertise in project finance and operational performance. He
began his career at the European Union Delegation to Ethiopia, working on migration, private sector
development, and regional energy initiatives.
His professional experience spans over ten countries, and he is fluent in multiple languages, bring
deep familiarity with global markets and effective collaboration across diverse international settings.
