
Eileen Ziemann (she/her) is an Associate Consultant at SEEK Development. She brings diverseexperience in policy advocacy, project management, and mixed-methods research,gained through work on global health initiatives, particularly non-communicable diseases, acrossacademia, the private sector, non-profits, and international organizations inAsia, Africa, and Europe.
At SEEK, she ispassionate about shaping evidence-informed strategies that drive lasting changein global development, particularly in the cross-cutting areas of health, gender, and climate.
Previously, Eileenworked as a Patient Community Specialist at James Lind Care, where she managedand expanded the German patient community Forschungspanel, gaining experience in digital health services, community engagement, and clinical trials. At the World DiabetesFoundation, she authored a rapid review on diabetes in humanitarian settings,contributing data-driven program recommendations. She also supported UNRIC’s publiccommunications team and contributed to childhood cancer awareness campaigns at KidzCanZimbabwe. Eileen began her career at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, supporting academic operations and public relations.
Eileen holds an M.Sc. in Global Health specializing in Disaster Risk Management from the University of Copenhagen, a B.A. in International Relations and Social Sciences from the University of Erfurt, and is a certified Anesthesia Technician trained at Hannover Medical School.
