Clara Brettfeld (she/her) is a Consultant at SEEK Development with experience gained from various organizations focused on sustainable development and international cooperation. At SEEK, she supports clients in their Strategic Advocacy and Resource Mobilization efforts.
With cross-sectoral thematic knowledge and her expertise in the international development space, she supports international clients, private foundations, NGOs, and multilaterals in their advocacy and resource mobilization strategies. She also contributes to country analytics work for the Donor Tracker, specifically on the Netherlands and Norway.
Prior to working at SEEK, Clara worked at a variety of organizations in the international development space, building knowledge on the Asia Pacific region and in the field of climate. During two internships at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), she developed her expertise in international climate policy and supported evidence-based policy making. At the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), she gained insights into the inner workings of government-funded development cooperation. Clara also had exposure to foreign policy through her experience at the Austria Embassy in Beijing and the World Fair Trade Organization.
Clara has a Master's in Economic Development from Lund university and a Bachelor's in International Cultural and Business Studies from Passau University.
